As an artist I am inspired by life in cities, the characters that inhabit the environment in different parts of the world influenced by architecture and nature.

One World Trade Center New York. Year 2020-2021 oil on linen 147 x 130 cms. I have called a great part of my work human architecture. The relationship between the human figure and the architecture that inhabits; the relationship between the human, technical and progress.

Empire State Building, New York, Bouquet of Flowers. Oil on linen. 100 x 130 cms. The human beings ancestors found in Las Cuevas de Lascaux, Altamira, Stonehenge etc their place of habitation but also a place to express themselves, a mystical and meeting place.
Some of the cities that I represent are the testimony of my thought together with the exciting shapes of the skyline and buildings that determine the urban landscape.

The Winged Victory, a sculpture located on the dome of the building, is the main character of the painting. In neo-Renaissance style, this building was built on the corner where two important streets of the city converge, La Gran Vía and Calle Alcalá.

Architecture defines part of our existence, surrounds us and influences our lives. My expression is linked to the forms and spaces in which I have lived.

The process of construction and creation of the Acrobat began in 2001. I began to sketch and size it, choosing the wood, paper and linen rope with which I work. They are all recycling materials. The Acrobat is part of a sculpture installation: two figures of horses in different scales. One life-size, a figure of a horse head and another of a complete horse and rider on a smaller scale.
