Studio 1983-1984. Early drawings and paintings. Coinciding with the last year of fine arts at the university, a small workshop located in the attic of the Lutecia building in Bogotá. Krr 12 # 84-15.

Studio 1985-1989. An important event in 1984, the Italian Government gives me a scholarship for studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.  A great experience for a student and a great opportunity to live in the city of the Italian Renaissance. Via San Cristofano #4 , Tavarnuzze, Florence

Bather, charcoal on canvas drawing. Year 1985. Charcoal, pigments. Part of installation. 150 x 145 cms. Drawing, charcoal and pigments on canvas. With expressive lines, my drawings at this stage in large format, life-size fabrics. Squares and diptychs were the beginning of my work.

Studio interior, 1985-1989. After studying at the Accademia di San Marco in Florence,  back in my workshop with an oil on canvas in the background. The Italian government grants me a scholarship. I enjoyed the scholarship by studying at the Accademia di Belle Art di San Marco. Italy.

My stay in the city of Frankfurt ends, my new and exciting stage in Madrid begins the city in which I lived for 21 years. It was a great important experience in my life. Madrid is my point of reference and my second city.
